After a very long break I am finally making some headway with the layout. First section is the Turntable and roundhouse and the Yard.
The Turntable anchors one end of the layout and leads to the Yard. The mainline runs around the roundhouse.
Underneath the turntable, each stall track is isolated and will be on its own block occupancy detector, what a lot of wires !
The kato feeder tracks (and turnouts come with mini Tamiya plugs, I just could not get rid of them by cutting them off. So with a handy tool I removed the plugs to feed the wires thru and then will reattach the plugs. Likewise the block detector (and switch controllers will be hooked up to the male Tamiya plugs to hook these to.
